A Quote.

A Quote- that deserves its own page

“Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That's its balance.”

By Osho (an Indian spiritual teacher)

One person commented: "After the loss of my husband in April I have had such sadness. These words are helpful!"

Quotes can heal. :)   Happy New Years! 2014 be a good one.

Nelson Mandela 1918-2013

Nelson Mandela

1918-2013

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

We learnt to love you. Your humility, your compassion, your passion to spread peace across South Africa and consequently across the whole world.

You weren't just any ordinary person, you were gift for our time. I thank God for giving you to us. You are resting in peace.

Its strange to me, I always saw you as immortal  here to guide us through the evil in this world. But I bet you would like that. Your death was a message you were merely human like everyone else.

You never gave in despair, you never let yourself surrender to your lowest instincts. You gave hope not only to South Africa and to the world but also... yourself.

I am so proud to say you were released out of prison 11th of February. My birthday date.

This is a message to your spirit, to your legacy. Even though you passed on, they never will.

It will be in our hearts, minds and souls.

C.R.I.P  - Carry on Resting in Peace

You are peace. :)

Who you are. Who am I . Who the rest of the world is.

"Your whole life is about discovering who you already were."

Remember your YOU for a reason. There is a reason why we all look different but the same (in a strange but wonderful way) . I was in the bus and I turned to my left and saw a boy my age or older, I didn't know his name but I knew this..

He has cried atleast once in his life

He felt pain (physical or emotional)

He laughs

He bleeds

He feel strong emotions like sadness or anger

I know all this except his name.

Have a wonderful day and ...
